Out with the old and in with the re-brand | Website face lift

For awhile I had been toying around with what I wanted to do for a website face lift. I believe that as my business has been maturing, my website should also. My website is a huge part of my brand and also what draws in my clients. Facebook and instagram are amazing, but I only use those to get people to the website. The website (more specifically my blog) is where the majority of my work goes. I spend a lot of time picking the best images; arranging them and writing about them. As I've mentioned there is a story, a feeling behind every image, my website should also have a feeling of its own. I wanted it to feel clean, but easy to navigate and sophisticated. I believe I managed to do just that! Its a big change from my old website, but it's exactly what I had in mind.

One of my goals for 2015 was to blog more. Even if its not much. Just get it down, and include a picture. With my gorgeous (if I do say so myself) new layout, I think that will be pretty easy!

Here are some of the things you have to look forward to:

  • Free downloads (computer backgrounds, calenders, phone backgrounds...more??)
  • Recipes (another goal of 2015 is to cook new recipes, so why not blog it!)
  • Tricky lighting (Okay I don't even want to say it, but FLASH. UGH. I need to master this.)
  • Home details (#TheSelbyHome. We continue to decorate bit by bit, so I'm going to document along the way.)

As with all new things, it takes some time to get a rhythm, so don't hold me to a strict schedule, but guys, this is my plan. Dare I use another hashtag in this post? #WebsiteRevamp.
